HCMC – The Ministry of Justice has claimed the top spot in administrative reform, scoring 89.95% on the Public Administration Reform (PAR) Index for 2023, while the Ministry of Industry and Trade lagged behind with a score of 78.03%, placing it at the bottom of the rankings for ministries and ministerial-level agencies.
These findings were released today, April 17, by the Government’s Administrative Reform Steering Committee at a conference on the 2023 Satisfaction Index of Public Administrative Services (SIPAS) and the PAR Index.
Out of the 17 ministries and ministerial-level agencies evaluated, 14 achieved PAR Index scores above 80%, with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs experiencing the highest increase at 5.83 points, while the Ministry of Planning and Investment saw the most significant decrease at 5.31 points.
Regarding the centrally-run provinces and cities, Quang Ninh Province maintained its top position in the rankings with an impressive score of 92.18%, marking its sixth time leading the nationwide administrative reform rankings since 2012.
Haiphong City secured the second position with a PAR Index above 90% for the fourth consecutive year. An Giang Province ranked lowest with a score of 81.32%.
