HCMC – The Ministry of Industry and Trade has launched the first review of anti-dumping measures on certain prestressed steel strand products imported from Malaysia, Thailand and China, reported the Vietnam News Agency.
The review follows a request filed by a Chinese manufacturer subject to the duties, according to the Trade Remedies Authority of Vietnam under the ministry. The case is registered as AR01.AD17.
The ministry said the review is conducted under Government Decree No. 86/2025/ND-CP, which allows interested parties to request an annual review during the first four years after anti-dumping or countervailing measures take effect, or after an extension decision becomes effective.
After examining the dossier in line with legal requirements, the ministry on January 21 issued Decision No. 150/QD-BCT to formally initiate the first review of the measures.
To protect the rights and interests of relevant organizations and individuals, the Trade Remedies Authority has called on stakeholders to register as interested parties. Registration must be submitted within 60 working days from the effective date of the decision.
Registrations can be filed through the online trade remedies system or sent by post or email. The deadline for registration is April 22, 2026.
