HCMC – Nguyen Ho Hai, who had served as permanent deputy Party secretary of HCMC, this morning took up the post of Party secretary of Ca Mau Province in the Mekong Delta, replacing Nguyen Tien Hai, who was transferred to Kien Giang Province a day earlier to assume the post of Party Committee secretary.
Today morning, Le Minh Hung, Politburo member, secretary of the Party Central Committee and head of the Central Organization Commission, announced a Politburo decision on Nguyen Ho Hai’s appointment at a ceremony at the Ca Mau Province Conference Center and handed over the decision to him.
Nguyen Ho Hai was also designated as a member of the Military Region 9 Party Committee for the 2020–2025 term.
The ceremony was also attended by Do Trong Hung, Party Central Committee member and deputy head of the Central Organization Commission, Phan Van Mai, Party Central Committee member and chairman of the People’s Committee of HCMC, Nguyen Tien Hai, Party Central Committee member and secretary of the Kien Giang Province Party Committee.
Nguyen Ho Hai was relieved of his positions in the Party Executive Committee, Party Standing Committee, and permanent deputy secretary of the HCMC Party Committee in the 2020-2025 term.
Born in 1977, he is a native of Cu Chi District, HCMC. He holds a doctorate in business administration, a Master’s degree in urban management, and a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
