HCMC – The eight-day Nguyen Hue Flower Street 2023 exhibition closed yesterday, the fifth day of the first lunar month, with over 1.2 million Tet revelers visiting, a 20-year high.
Organized on the occasion of the Lunar New Year (Tet), the 20th flower street was a day longer than in the previous Tet. The flower show from January 19 to 26 (or from the 28th of the 12th lunar month to the 5th of the first lunar month of the Year of the Cat).
With over 70 impressive animal statues, mostly the cat, flowers and ornamental trees, it received positive feedback from visitors.
The animal statues, ornamental trees and flowers were brought to the Binh Quoi tourist village, the Dam Sen Park and flower farms for display after the flower street concluded yesterday, according to Saigontourist Group.
The Nguyen Hue Flower Street 2023 was organized by the Saigontourist Group under the direction of the HCMC People’s Committee, and supported by businesses such as Imex Pan Pacific Group, Prowtech International Vina, Sweden Auto, the HCMC branch of Vietcombank, Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam Beverage Company, VPBank and Vietnam Airlines.
