HCMC – Vietnam reported one more Covid-19 patient on Friday morning, February 26, who was placed in quarantine upon her arrival in Tay Ninh Province, raising the country’s tally to 2,421 to date, said the Ministry of Health.
She entered the country through the Moc Bai international border gate in the southern province on February 23. The 28-year-old resident of HCMC’s District 4 is now under treatment at the Tay Ninh Province General Hospital.
Up to now, the country has reported 1,520 cases by community transmission, with 827 being recorded in 13 provinces and cities nationwide since January 27.
Further, 1,804 coronavirus patients have fully recovered, while 35 others have died of the respiratory disease.
