HCMC – The Health Ministry has just announced that one Vietnamese returnee from Angola tested positive for Covid-19, sending the country’s total infections to 1,213 as of Saturday morning, November 7.
The patient is a 22-year-old resident in the north-central province of Ha Tinh. He was transported to a quarantine facility in Bac Ninh Province after arriving at Van Don airport from Angola on October 20, thus posing no risk of community transmission.
Of the nation’s tally of 1,213 as of now, 1,070 cases have made a full recovery while 35 others have died of the novel coronavirus, said the ministry.
