One more recovered Covid-19 patient tests positive again

HCMC – One individual who had been declared free of coronavirus has retested positive for the virus, while no fresh Covid-19 cases were reported this morning, April 29, according to the national steering committee for Covid-19 infection prevention and control.

The woman, a Brazilian citizen tagged as the 151st case, is the wife of the 207th case who tested positive again on April 27.

She retested positive on April 28 during her 14-day self-isolation period after being discharged from hospital on April 18 and is being treated at Cu Chi field hospital in HCMC.

Earlier, on April 25 and 27, Vietnam reported eight other cases who tested positive for Covid-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus, after recovery. They are the 188th, 52nd, 149th, 137th, 36th, 74th, 207th and 224th patients.

As of 6 a.m. today, April 29, the country has recorded zero new Covid-19 infections in the community for 13 days since April 16, according to the committee.

The nation’s total number of confirmed cases was kept unchanged at 270, with 221 recoveries, the local media reported.
