HCMC – The prime minister has given the green light to a VND9,190 billion project to construct a coastal road in Tra Vinh Province.
The project will receive VND2,470 billion from the local budget, with the remainder financed through a loan from the Asian Development Bank.
The main objective of the project is to connect the coastal roads in Tra Vinh and Ben Tre provinces via the Cung Hau bridge and Co Chien 2 Bridge, while also linking with Soc Trang Province through the Dai Ngai Bridge.
The project is expected to bolster economic development along the project’s roads, facilitate transition to the green economy.
To ensure the project’s implementation, the Ministry of Planning and Investment has been tasked with preparing reports and making necessary proposals.
Tra Vinh authorities will work with the Ministry of Planning and Investment and relevant agencies to conduct a pre-feasibility study.
