HCMC – Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has decided to form a task force in charge of doing away with any difficulties faced by Covid-19-hit businesses and residents.
Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai serves as head of the task force and Nguyen Chi Dung, Minister of Planning and Investment, is standing deputy head of the new force. The other deputy heads are Ho Duc Phoc, Minister of Finance; Dao Ngoc Dung, Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs; and the leaders of other ministries.
The task force will proactively collect information, make a list of Covid-related obstacles facing enterprises and residents and seek approval from the prime minister to cope with pressing, inter-regional and interdisciplinary issues.
In addition, it will coordinate with another task force of the prime minister to review, remove bottlenecks and speed up investment projects in the country.
The task force is responsible for reporting to the PM monthly, quarterly or suddenly at the request of the leader of the task force or the prime minister.
