In Vietnam, tea embodies the rich cultural etiquette and philosophy of the Vietnamese people. The ancestors saw drinking tea as an art that went beyond strict rules.

To honor Vietnamese tea culture and promote international dialogue, the inaugural International Tea Festival Hue 2025 is taking place in the central city of Hue.

The festival aims to invigorate the tea industry through both traditional and innovative products and to create a cultural, wellness tourism space infused with Vietnamese identity and Zen principles. This initiative intends to develop a new tourism offering—the Tea & Wellness model—broadening Hue’s reach to a wider audience.

Scheduled from December 10–12 at Truong Sanh Palace in the Hue Citadel, the festival features key highlights like the “Tea in the flow of culture and creativity” workshop, a tea exhibition showcasing a variety of products from traditional to modern, including tea cocktails and tea-based cosmetics, and the teatender competition.
