HCMC – The central province of Quang Nam was recently struck by three consecutive earthquakes, according to the Institute of Geophysics.
A magnitude 3 earthquake occurred at 4:40 a.m. on November 3 at a depth of around 8.1 kilometers in the mountainous district of Bac Tra My, Quang Nam Province.
Four hours later, a magnitude 2.6 earthquake rattled the district of Nam Tra My.
Another magnitude 2.8 earthquake happened at around 0:30 a.m. on November 2.
None of the three quakes caused a natural disaster risk and no casualties or property damages were reported in the districts of Kon Plong in Kon Tum, Bac Tra My, and Nam Tra My in Quang Nam.
