HCMC – Saigon Times Group, in partnership with FiCO Tay Ninh Cement JSC (Fico-YTL), will host a workshop titled “Bringing Green Social Homes Into Reality” on August 22.
As urbanization accelerates and demand for housing rises, social housing development has become a critical focus. Despite growing interest from homebuyers, the concept of eco-friendly or “green” social housing has yet to be fully embraced by real estate developers.
Creating affordable and sustainable social housing is a vital step for businesses in supporting the Government’s commitment to net zero emissions by 2050.
Therefore, the Saigon Times Group and FiCO Tay Ninh Cement Joint Stock Company decided to hold a workshop at the former’s headquarters, 35 Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Street, District 1, to address the opportunities, challenges, and solutions for developing such housing, with a particular emphasis on green social housing.
Key topics to be covered include Government support policies, financing solutions, standards for “green” social housing, and practical experiences shared by businesses. The workshop will also highlight advanced green building technologies and materials that can contribute to the development of eco-friendly social housing.
It is expected to bring together representatives from government agencies, leading experts in real estate, construction, and banking, as well as business leaders and investors.
