HCMC – The Saigon Times Group will hold the Green Economy Forum under the theme “Post-pandemic Adaptation and Development” on April 15 to create an opportunity for leading scientists and experts and leaders of enterprises to discuss the green economy development in the new situation and seek solutions for the future.

Green growth, green economy and circular economy have become popular concepts, especially when organizations and enterprises have been seeking ways to adapt to the Covid-19 pandemic and overcome difficulties to recover and develop stably.

There are many statistical reports showing the number of enterprises suspending operations over the past two years, but it is hard to study and assess the challenges facing enterprises’ existence and development during the pandemic.

Stories about enterprises which have faced hardships during the pandemic are not scarce. However, some enterprises have grown strongly as their products and technologies have matched consumers’ habits changed by the pandemic.

Therefore, according to analysts, enterprises need to determine their core values and choose development solutions and plans appropriate to future trends instead of solving impending problems only. And green economy and green growth have become solutions for enterprises after a long crisis period due to Covid-19. In addition, they will ensure the future of enterprises adapting well to the circular and sustainable trends.

At the Green Economy Forum, experts, scientists and entrepreneurs will discuss the green economy in the post-pandemic recovery and development trend; ways to convert into green economy while resolving issues related to capital, investment, revenue and profit; and solutions to catch up with green economy and green growth trends to know and satisfy the demands of consumers in the new period.

The forum will include three seminars scheduled to take place between 8 a.m. and 12 a.m. at the Sheraton Saigon Hotel & Towers in HCMC’s District 1.

The information about the program will be published on publications and social media channels of The Saigon Times Group.
