HCMC – The Saigon Times, an English news site under the Saigon Times Group, has announced a final list of 40 businesses eligible for certification for their outstanding CSR practices and remarkable contributions to society this year.
Riding on the success of the previous editions of the Saigon Times CSR program, The Saigon Times launched the Saigon Times CSR 2023 in May in a bid to serve as a platform to foster, preserve and honor local and foreign-invested businesses with a great sense of responsibility for the local communities.
This is the fifth year The Saigon Times has organized the program to recognize those businesses that have left a positive impact on the local communities.
Six months since this year’s program started, The Saigon Times has received around 70 inspiring CSR stories from Vietnamese and foreign businesses throughout the country. These stories were published on the Saigon Times CSR page and its sister online newspaper in Vietnamese, Kinh te Sai Gon Online.
Forty companies with outstanding CSR practices will be recognized and honored at the Saigon Times CSR 2023 Merit Ceremony, which is scheduled to take place on November 15, 2023 at Rex Hotel Saigon in District 1, HCMC.
The Merit Ceremony will also feature the “Sustainability and Beyond” seminar, with panelists coming from prominent companies and organizations.
