Curbing the haze, counting the cost

Addressing environmental pollution, Vietnam is shifting from data to field-level action, implementing agricultural and urban interventions to safeguard public health and economic prosperity. The economic toll of environmental degradation has moved beyond theoretical modeling into a stark reality for national treasuries and public health systems. Lead exposure alone accounts for a 7% loss in global gross domestic product (GDP), representing not just a health catastrophe but a profound failure in resource management and human capital protection.
