The ESG Forum 2024 – “From Ideas to Action,” one of the first net-zero carbon events in Vietnam, was held at the Rex Hotel, District 1, HCMC on June 13 to promote the adoption of ESG practices among businesses.
The event was organized by The Saigon Times, an English online newspaper published by the Saigon Times Group, in collaboration with the EuroCham Green Growth Sector Committee (GGSC) and the ESG & Sustainable Business Transition Alliance.
Over 200 business executives and experts attended the forum, focusing on the integration of environmental, social, and governance principles into business strategies. The forum fostered dialogue and collaboration among diverse stakeholders, highlighting pathways for businesses to implement meaningful change. It exemplified a paradigm shift towards responsible and sustainable business practices in Vietnam and beyond.
Notably, the forum ensured that all greenhouse gas emissions associated with the event, including those from travel, energy use, catering, waste, and other activities, were offset in line with the theme of translating ideas into action.
