HCMC — TikTok Shop has announced a partnership with Vietnamese government agencies to provide e-commerce training programs for small businesses and young professionals.
The initiative was launched under the “TikTok Shop CSR Day 2025 – Together For Good” campaign and is part of the company’s broader “Elevating Vietnamese Products” program.
TikTok Shop will work with the Ministry of Industry and Trade’s E-commerce and Digital Economy Agency and the Center for E-commerce and Digital Technology (eComDX) to implement a regional e-commerce week called “Go Online” across six major economic regions.
The program will offer training on e-commerce regulations, tax compliance, business development strategies, and digital advertising. It targets local businesses and young workers, aiming to build long-term e-commerce capacity.
In addition to training, the program will include trade promotion activities to boost nationwide sales of local branded products.
TikTok Shop also plans to support 300,000 vendors from traditional markets with e-commerce skills. The initiative is being developed in cooperation with the Vietnam E-commerce Association and the Vietnam E-commerce and Digital Economy Agency at the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Support for traditional market sellers will include digital transformation guides, livestream sales training, and specialized e-commerce programs.
To support digital content creators such as KOLs and KOCs, TikTok Shop will coordinate with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and advertising associations to deliver training on advertising laws.
The company will also expand existing CSR initiatives, including OCOP Market Sessions, Proud of Vietnamese Goods, and GreenUP, with a focus on promoting Vietnamese product categories such as tropical fruits and bird’s nests.
