Net-zero tourism, which is aimed at minimizing carbon emissions, is rapidly gaining traction within Vietnam’s tourism industry, promising a more sustainable future for both travelers and the destinations they visit. At a recent tourism forum in HCMC, participants emphasized the need to measure tourists’ carbon footprints, foster collaboration among stakeholders, and ensure sustainable tourism will benefit local communities. The event highlighted the crucial role of balancing tourism growth with environmental responsibility.
