Vietnam Golf Coast (VGC) clubs are embracing the central region’s growing reputation as a top-tier culinary destination, offering visitors world-class dining alongside elite golfing experiences.

Long recognized for its rich culinary heritage, Danang has been a key ambassador of Central Vietnamese cuisine, featuring signature dishes such as mi Quang (turmeric rice noodles with shrimp and pork), bun cha ca (fishcake noodle soup), and banh xeo (savory crepes). Seafood restaurants, known for their fresh, locally sourced ingredients, also contribute to the region’s dynamic food scene.

Danang’s culinary prestige was further cemented in 2024 when it was named one of Vietnam’s three Michelin Guide destinations, joining Hanoi and HCMC. The city’s inclusion reflects its diverse dining landscape, from traditional street food to high-end gastronomy, with Michelin inspectors now evaluating its vibrant offerings.

VGC clubs—Ba Na Hills Golf Club, Montgomerie Links, and Laguna Golf Lang Co—have integrated this gastronomic excellence into their offerings. Laguna Lang Co boasts ten diverse dining venues, including Azura’s beachfront Mediterranean cuisine and The Water Court’s authentic Vietnamese flavors. Its signature Banyan Tree restaurant, Saffron, offers Thai cuisine with panoramic sea views.

Montgomerie Links’ Birdies restaurant is acclaimed for blending East-meets-West cuisine, using fresh local ingredients and evolving seasonal menus.

Ba Na Hills Golf Club’s clubhouse restaurant provides a mix of Vietnamese, Korean, and Western dishes.

Beyond golf courses, Central Vietnam’s gastronomy extends to historic cities like Hoi An and Hue. Hoi An’s specialties, such as cao lau and white rose dumplings, draw food lovers, while Hue’s imperial cuisine, including bun bo Hue, showcases the city’s royal heritage.
