HCMC – Local carriers under the Vietnam Airlines Group, including Vietnam Airlines, Pacific Airlines and VASCO, plan to offer nearly two million seats, equivalent to around 10,000-11,000 flights, between January 16 and February 15 next year to meet the rising travel demand during the upcoming Lunar New Year holiday or Tet.
The group is offering 1.2 million seats and will increase the number of seats based on the market demand and permission from the competent agencies.
A large number of tickets are being offered for sale on the busiest routes between Hanoi and HCMC, Danang, Nha Trang, Dalat, Phu Quoc and those linking HCMC with Danang, Haiphong, Vinh and Thanh Hoa.
For the Tet holiday, Vietnam Airlines will offer special deals on many domestic routes between HCMC and Hanoi, Danang, Vinh, Haiphong and Thanh Hoa, with the airfare starting at VND643,000 per leg inclusive of taxes and fees.
Passengers should book tickets via the group’s official channels such as websites or ticket agents and request an invoice to avoid buying fake or overpriced tickets.
