HCMC – After a hiatus of over five months, Vietnam Airlines will resume flights between the central city of Danang and the Central Highlands city of Dalat, effective June 1.
The resumption of the service follows a request by Lam Dong Province, said Ngo Minh Tien, vice head of Vietnam Airlines branch in Lam Dong.
The route will feature three weekly flights scheduled for Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
Departure from Danang International Airport is slated for 3:30 p.m. with arrival at Lien Khuong Airport at 4:45 p.m. Flights will depart from Lien Khuong at 5:25 p.m. and arrive at Danang at 6:35 p.m.
For months, air services have been disrupted between Dalat and five other localities including Danang, Vinh, Haiphong, Phu Quoc, and Can Tho.
