Vietnam braces for Omicron Covid variant

The Government of Vietnam is preparing response plans to cope with the heavily mutated Omicron variant of the coronavirus, which is reportedly more contagious than the Delta variant that has already become the dominant strain in Vietnam in the current fourth wave of Covid-19.
