HCMC – Vietnam Interior and Build Expo (VIBE) 2024 opened in HCMC on October 2, showcasing leading trends in home furnishings and building materials.

The expo, organized by the Handicraft and Wood Industry Association of HCMC (HAWA) and the Saigon Construction & Building Material Association (SACA), has over 500 booths from 150 companies.

VIBE 2024 is a platform to enhance the supply chain of the interior and construction industry, providing opportunities for businesses to expand their reach both domestically and internationally, said Nguyen Quoc Khanh, head of the organizing committee.

The expo adopts a B2D2C model, connecting businesses directly with consumers through architects and interior designers. It also focuses on sustainability, smart technology, and stylish designs.

Bui Quang Hung, deputy director of the Trade Promotion Agency (Vietrade), said the country’s rapid urbanization has driven domestic demand for interior products, but imported products still dominate the high-end market.

VIBE 2024 is a timely event that can help domestic businesses regain the domestic market and boost exports, he added.

The expo will run until October 5, also offering a virtual platform for exhibitors to reach a global audience.
