The ministry also reported 69 new Covid fatalities, taking the country’s Covid death toll to 41,949.

As such, the province is speeding up the vaccination of adults and has mapped out a detailed plan to give the vaccine to children aged between five and 12.
As of March 20, over 99% of An Giang Province’s adults had got one shot of the Covid vaccine, while the province had got 97.9% of adults fully vaccinated and seen 52.6% of them receive a booster dose.
Over 96% of the province’s children aged between 12 and 17 have got two shots of the Covid vaccine, the local media reported.
