Vietnam reports 10 more Covid-19 cases linked to Danang

HCMC – The Ministry of Health confirmed 10 new Covid-19 cases this morning, August 4, including seven patients in Danang City and three others in Quang Nam Province, who are linked to Danang Hospital.

The three cases in Quang Nam Province, aged from 35 to 67, include one patient who had been receiving treatment at the Internal Medicine – Neurology – Hematology Department of Danang Hospital and two others who had interacted with the 555th Covid-19 patient.

The seven patients residing in Danang City, aged between 30 and 68, include one medical worker at Danang Hospital, five patients under treatment at the hospital and one having close contact with Covid-19 patients.

As of this morning, Vietnam has confirmed 652 patients of Covid-19, with 205 cases linked to Danang City, the country’s largest coronavirus hotspot.

Over the past six days, six Covid-19 cases were confirmed dead due to their serious underlying health conditions and Covid-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus.
