HCMC – The Vietnam National Authority of Tourism (VNAT) has called for stricter safety measures for water-based activities during the National Day holiday from August 31 to September 3.
The directive emphasizes rigorous enforcement of safety regulations, especially for operators offering water-related services. Authorities are instructed to prevent the use of unregistered vessels to transport tourists.
With a surge in domestic travel expected over the holiday period, the VNAT has highlighted the need to maintain high service quality. They have also warned against price gouging and soliciting money from tourists, practices that could harm the country’s tourism reputation.
