HCMC – Vietnam’s President Vo Van Thuong is set to attend the APEC CEO Summit 2023 during his visit to the United States from November 14 to 17. This summit will gather about 2,000 business leaders from the Asia-Pacific region and elsewhere in the world.
President Thuong, accompanied by his spouse, will lead a high-ranking delegation during the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Forum’s summit week, and will participate in bilateral activities held in San Francisco, the U.S. According to Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Minh Hang, this visit is of significant importance.
During his trip, President Thuong will engage in discussions on key global and regional economic issues with APEC leaders. He will present measures to enhance cooperation in trade, investment, science, technology, innovation, and other sectors.
He will meet with U.S. leaders and top business executives to promote the relationship between Vietnam and the U.S. based on their comprehensive strategic partnership.
This visit is an essential event within the foreign affairs program of Party and Government leaders for 2023.
