HCMC – Vingroup signed multiple memorandums of understanding (MOU) with prominent companies from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) during the recent Vietnam-UAE business roundtable, attended by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.
Key partners include AD Ports Group, NMDC, and Benya Technologies, while VinFast, a subsidiary of Vingroup, signed an MOU with Emirates Driving Company (EDC), a leader in road safety and driver training in Abu Dhabi.
Specifically, AD Ports Group expressed interest in collaborating with Vingroup to enhance shipbuilding capability, transportation systems, and port operations, with the goal of modernizing Vietnam’s shipping logistics and production infrastructure.
Vingroup and NMDC are exploring a partnership on a large-scale marine reclamation project, aiming to reclaim 150 million cubic meters of seabed for urban development. This project will support industrial and real estate development, sustainable coastal protection for high-end properties, and other coastal utilization initiatives.
In the digital transformation sphere, Vingroup and Benya Technologies will assess the feasibility of launching projects including a data center, and will develop technical infrastructure, electricity, and water treatment solutions to meet the needs of this venture.
According to Vingroup, the cooperation with these strategic Middle Eastern partners will support the development of technology, infrastructure, and a green economy in Vietnam, while also laying the groundwork for Vingroup’s global expansion.
