Ca Mau Cape National Park is a key part of the World Biosphere Reserve in the southernmost province of Ca Mau. The wetland area is recognized as a Ramsar site. The park preserves genetic resources and protects diverse ecosystems with over 400 species, including more than 40 rare species threatened with extinction, such as otters, fishing cats, and reticulated pythons.
