HCMC – Work on the My An-Cao Lanh Expressway in Dong Thap province, part of the Western North-South Expressway project, is slated to commence in December this year, according to the My Thuan Project Management Board.
The 27-kilometer expressway, which connects Thap Muoi and Cao Lanh districts, requires over VND6,100 billion, funded by an official development assistance (ODA) loan from the South Korean government and reciprocal capital from Vietnam.
Around 3.1 million cubic meters of sand will be needed for the first phase of the project.
The My Thuan Project Management Board has completed the handover of land clearance boundary markers to Thap Muoi and Cao Lanh districts.
The project management board has also requested Dong Thap Province to provide information on the sand mines planned for the project so that the consulting unit can conduct surveys and complete the project’s material survey documentation.
