33 found alive from landslide in Tra Leng, 13 remain missing

HCMC – Rescue teams have rescued 33 people hit by the landslide in Tra Leng Commune of Nam Tra My District in the central province of Quang Nam, while the 13 others remain missing.

Of the alive victims, 16 people were injured and were immediately sent to local hospitals for treatment, according to Senior Lieutenant Colonel Ha Ra Dieu, head of the Military Command of Nam Tra My District.

The competent forces also recovered the bodies of six locals from the severe landslide, the local media reported.

In related news, among the 11 victims trapped in the landslide in Phuoc Loc Commune of Phuoc Son District in the province, five bodies were recovered at 3.30 p.m.
