HCMC – A 90-ton truck crushed a pick-up truck in Quang Ninh’s Cam Pha City on February 20, killing two people inside the truck.
The accident happened at about 9 p.m. last night on a road used to transport soil and rocks from an open-cast mine of Cao Son Coal JSC. It was raining heavily at the time, accompanied by thick fog and a temperature of below eight degrees Celsius, Lao Dong newspaper reported.
The pick-up was reportedly owned by Trung Nghia Transport Services and Investment JSC, a contractor responsible for shoveling and loading soil and rocks at the coal mine.
After the accident, workers of Cao Son Coal JSC quickly pulled the victims out of the cabin of the truck.
However, the two victims, who have yet to be identified, died.
