HCMC – Dat Xanh Services, which lists its shares on the Hochiminh Stock Exchange under the code DXS, will issue nearly 54 million shares to pay a 2020 dividend and bonuses to its existing shareholders.

The real estate developer is set to issue over 23.6 million shares to pay the dividend of 1,000:66, meaning that for every 1,000 shares held, a stakeholder can receive 66 new shares.

More than 30 million bonus shares will be issued at a ratio of 1,000:84, the local media reported.

At its annual shareholders meeting in late April, DXS aimed for VND8.4 trillion in accumulated net revenue and VND1.25 trillion in after-tax profit in 2022. The figures were up 92% and 132% against 2021, respectively.

In the first quarter of 2022, the firm posted some VND864 billion in net revenue and VND218 billion in after-tax profit, down 18.7% and 36.2% year-on-year, respectively.

Given these business results, Dat Xanh Services reached a mere 10.28% of its full-year revenue target and some 17% of the profit target.

DXS closed the trading session today, May 19, up 1.1%, extending its winning streak for the third straight day.

For big-cap stocks, consumer goods company MSN stole the limelight as it shot up 7% to its daily ceiling price, becoming a major driver of the market rise.

The Hanoi Stock Exchange fell into negative territory with decliners nearly doubling advancers by 123 to 65. The HNX-Index lost 1.82 points, or 0.59%, against the session earlier, at 308.02.
