QBS sells entire stake at Quang Binh-Dinh Vu ICD

HCMC – Quang Binh Import-Export JSC (QBS) has announced the completion of the transfer of its 98.63% stake in Quang Binh-Dinh Vu ICD Company to Green Logistics Center Company, with a total value of VND432 billion.

QBS signed the transfer contract with Green Logistics Center Company, a subsidiary of Viconship Company, on April 4 this year.

QBS earlier had contributed VND432 billion, equivalent to a 98.63% stake, to the Quang Binh-Dinh Vu ICD Company.

In the first quarter of this year, QBS saw its revenue plunging sharply to VND42.5 billion from VND268 billion.

QBS soared 6.76% to its upper limit of VND3,790 per share today, June 30.

In related news, the VN-Index on the Hochiminh Stock Exchange shed 20.49 points, or 1.68% over the session earlier at 1,197.6, with 89 winners and 371 losers. Trade on the southern bourse contracted almost 9% in volume and 4% in value against yesterday at over 510 million shares and more than VND11.3 trillion. Shares traded in block deals accounted for some VND1 trillion of the total value.

The VN-Index lost a combined 95.08 points in June, equal to a 7.35% decline. Also, it dropped by 294,55 points in the second quarter and over 300 points in the year to date.

On the Hanoi bourse, the rising selling pressure dragged down the HNX-Index. With 56 advancers and 145 decliners, the index inched down 4.66 points, or 1.65%, versus the previous session to close at its intraday low of 277.68.
