HCMC – A flame broke out on the afternoon of August 4 at a parking lot in the central city of Danang, burning down two 16-seat cars.
At around 1 p.m., pedestrians spotted a 16-seat car, parked near a wedding location on September 2 Street, Hai Chau District, Danang City, on fire.
The windy and scorching weather fueled the blaze with thick smoke billowing 10 meters high and spreading to another 16-seat car.
The driver and local residents attempted to put out the flame but in vain, while some wedding-goers drove their cars away from the fire.
The firefighters arrived at the site shortly after being notified and were eventually able to extinguish the fire.
The incident left two 16-seat vehicles destroyed and a nearby car singed.
The police are investigating the cause of the fire.
