HCMC – Fuel retail prices in the local market were revised down slightly by VND100-VND200 per liter or kilogram at 3 p.m. today, July 27, according to an announcement jointly issued by the ministries of Industry and Trade and Finance.
E5 RON92 bio-fuel and RON95-III gasoline are priced at VND20,490 and VND21,680 per liter, down an unnoticeable VND110 and VND100, respectively.

During this fuel price adjustment, the two ministries decided not to extract money from gasoline products to replenish the national fuel price stabilization fund. However, they allowed local fuel traders to tap the fund at VND1,250 for each liter of bio-fuel sold to customers and VND300 for each liter of RON95 petrol.
Meanwhile, the respective extraction rates for each liter or kilogram of diesel oil, kerosene and heavy fuel oil sold were VND200, VND300, VND300, respectively. Fuel traders were not permitted to tap the fund for each liter or kilogram of these products sold.
