HCMC – Fuel wholesalers and distributors must ensure an uninterrupted supply of biofuel gasoline across their distribution networks, according to a directive issued by the Ministry of Industry and Trade on June 8.
The ministry’s Agency for Domestic Market Management and Development sent Official Document No. 1781 to fuel wholesalers and distributors, requiring them to secure sufficient supplies and maintain continuous distribution to the market.
The agency instructed businesses not to allow disruptions in biofuel gasoline supply at any stage of the distribution chain, from wholesalers and distributors to retail stations. Companies must ensure adequate deliveries to retail outlets to maintain regular sales operations under all circumstances.
Businesses were also asked to share supplies and allocate profits reasonably within their distribution systems to prevent supply interruptions. They must arrange sufficient staffing and organize additional shifts when necessary to ensure stable operations and meet demand from consumers and businesses.
The agency further requested wholesalers and distributors to closely monitor biofuel gasoline consumption. Any difficulties arising during implementation should be reported promptly for review and resolution.
