HCMC – Two people were killed while 13 others were injured after a passenger coach crashed into a truck in Hue City in Thua Thien-Hue Province last night, November 9.
At 11:00 p.m. on the day, a truck was travelling on a bypass in the city, near the under-construction Cam Lo-La Son expressway project, and heading to Quang Tri Province when it collided into the passenger coach in the opposite direction.
The crash claimed two lives on the passenger coach. They were identified as Nguyen Van M., a 49-year-old resident of Thanh Hoa Province, and Phan Ba H, aged 43, who resided in Daklak Province.
Thirteen other passengers sustained breast, face and head injuries and were transferred to the Hue Central Hospital for treatment, while the two vehicles were heavily damaged.
The traffic police of the province are determining the cause of the fatal accident, the local media reported.
