HCMC – Le Duc Luan, head of the Audit Policy and Quality Control Department under the State Audit Office of Vietnam, has been picked as deputy minister of health.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh yesterday, February 3, approved a decision appointing Luan as deputy minister of health.
Luan, a 55-year-old native of the northern upland province of Yen Bai, joined the Audit Policy and Quality Control Department in January last year, the local media reported.
With this latest appointment, the Ministry of Health currently has four deputy ministers: Nguyen Thi Lien Huong, Tran Van Thuan, Do Xuan Tuyen and Le Duc Luan. The ministry is led by Dao Hong Lan.
