HCMC – Vietnamese low-cost carrier Vietjet Air has announced plans to operate the first flights between Hanoi and Phuket in southern Thailand, beginning May 19.
As planned, the flights leave Hanoi at 11:35 a.m. and land in Phuket at 2:40 p.m. Return flights from Phuket to Hanoi depart at 3:45 p.m. and arrive at 6:35 a.m.
The three-hour air service will be served on a daily basis. Tickets are now available at www.vietjetair.com or via the mobile application powered by Vietjet.
Vietjet currently operates the only nonstop service between HCMC and Phuket, which takes around two hours. The air carrier has also serviced the HCMC-Chiang Mai direct flight route.
Vietnam’s largest private carrier also offers flights to Suvarnabhumi Airport, better known as Bangkok International Airport, from major cities across the country.
