HCMC – The HCMC authorities have allowed seven more property projects to sell 50% of their off-plan homes and receive home ownership certificates, raising the number of city-aided projects to 13 to date.

The HCMC Real Estate Association (HoREA) said that of the seven projects, six belong to Hung Thinh Corporation and one to Novaland. These are two major housing developers in the city.

Hung Thinh Corporation’s six projects are Moonlight Park View and Moonlight Boulevard in Binh Tan District, 9 View Apartment in Thu Duc City, 8X Dam Sen in Tan Phu District, Dat Phuong Nam with the transaction name Moonlight Avenue in Thu Duc City and Vinh Tien with the transaction name as Moonlight Centre Point in Binh Tan District. Customers of the first four projects will get home ownership certificates while the investment policy for the other two is now approved.

Novaland’s The Grand Manhattan has been put on hold, so its construction work can now resume. Apartment delivery is expected to start in the fourth quarter next year, said Novaland.

Earlier, the HCMC authorities helped out five property projects of five firms, including one foreign investor. The projects were allowed to sell 50% of their homes which will be built in future.

With strong measures applied by the Government and the city, HoREA expects 156 projects in the sector to get rolling again this year.
