HCMC – Stavian Quang Yen Petrochemical and Tecnimont have signed a front-end engineering design (FEED) service contract for the Stavian Quang Yen Petrochemical Plant project today, May 18.
Tecnimont S.p.A, a subsidiary of the Italian engineering group Maire, will provide the FEED services package for the Stavian Quang Yen Petrochemical Plant project, with a completion time of 10 months.
FEED is part of a plant construction project, which paves the way for later phases such as detailed engineering design, machinery and equipment installation and factory construction.
In Vietnam, Tecnimont implemented the FEED service package for the Phu My Plastics Production project in 2021.
The firm was committed to keeping the Stavian Quang Yen Petrochemical Plant project on track with high standards in safety, quality and efficiency.
Once put into operation, the Stavian Quang Yen Petrochemical plant will contribute trillions of Vietnamese dong to the State budget and create thousands of highly skilled jobs annually.
The project will also help reduce imports of petrochemical products and raw materials for manufacturing industries.
Stavian Quang Yen Petrochemical has planned to minimize the environmental impact and accompany the Vietnamese government to realize the net-zero emission target by 2050.
