HCMC – Thien Long Group, which trades its TLG shares on the Hochiminh Stock Exchange, plans to spend over VND155 billion paying the remaining dividend in 2022 and the first installment of 2023.
The company will pay the remaining dividend for 2022 in cash at a ratio of 5%, and the interim cash dividend for the first installment in 2023 at a ratio of 15%. The payment will be made on July 5, 2023.
With over 77.7 million outstanding shares, Thien Long Group is expected to spend over VND155 billion paying dividend for this period to shareholders.
The company is projected to pay a 35% dividend in 2023, the same as in 2022.
Additionally, Thien Long Group has approved the plan to issue 800,000 shares under the Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP). Each share is priced at VND10,000.
Regarding its business performance, Thien Long Group achieved net revenue of VND918.5 billion in the first quarter of 2023, up 16% year-on-year. The gross profit margin remained stable at 42%.
The company previously set a target for net revenue to reach VND4,000 billion, up nearly 14% compared to the results in 2022. The estimated after-tax profit is expected to reach VND400 billion.
Thien Long Group has achieved 23% and 25% of its annual targets, respectively, at the end of the first quarter this year.
TLG shares closed the trading session today at VND55,700, up 0,36% over the previous session.
On the HCMC bourse, the VN-Index added 6.21 points, or 0.56%, against the previous session, at 1,107.53 points, with 190 advancers and 191 decliners.
Trade volume totaled 902.2 million shares worth over VND16.5 trillion, down 30% in volume and value against the previous day.
The top two securities companies in terms of market capitalization, VND and SSI, have seen a significant rebound. Particularly, SSI has made an impressive leap of 3.9%, reaching a six-month high of VND25,250 per share.
Meanwhile, VND increased by 4.7% to VND18,950 per share and took the lead by liquidity, with over 43 million units changing hands today.
GEX ranked second in terms of liquidity, with over 36.81 million shares traded today. GEX increased by 6.7% to VND19,100 per share.
On the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index added 0.82 points, or 0.36%, to 227.6 points, with 84 winners and 88 losers.
The total trading volume was 117.9 million shares, with a value of over VND1.8 trillion, including some VND145.39 billion worth of shares traded in block deals.
