HCMC – Six patients at the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases, two others receiving treatment at Thai Binh General Hospital and one patient at HCMC-based Cu Chi Field Hospital have recovered from the coronavirus.
The six receiving treatment at the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases comprise five men, tagged as the 304th, 296th, 289th, 306th and 310th patients, and one woman, the 323rd patient.
The six, aged between 19 and 47 years, were hospitalized on May 16 and 17.
After undergoing treatment at the hospital, they tested negative for the virus twice and are no longer presenting symptoms of fever, cough and shortness of breath.
The two patients at Thai Binh General Hospital are the 300th, a 26-year-old man and the 327th, a 31-year-old man. Their negative test results came out on May 30, June 4 and 6.
Meanwhile, the 271st patient, who was treated at the HCMC-based hospital, has tested negative for the virus from May 25 to 28. The 37-year-old man was sent to the hospital on May 3.
They will continue to be quarantined for another 14 days after being discharged from the hospital.
Among the 331 confirmed cases of Covid-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus, 316 patients have recovered, while the condition of the 15 active cases is stable, VietnamPlus news site reported.
