HCMC – The 21st Vietnam Medipharm Expo commenced on August 3 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center in District 7, HCMC, bringing together over 400 domestic and international businesses.
Running until August 5, the expo showcases a wide range of product portfolios in the pharmaceutical sectors, functional foods, processing and packaging machinery, medical equipment, and experimental tools, among others.
The event features leading manufacturers from 22 countries and territories, including India, Malaysia, Poland, Belgium, South Korea, Indonesia, and Japan.
Notable organizations and prestigious associations in the industry, such as India’s Pharmaceutical Export Promotion Council (Pharmexcil), Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), and Indonesia’s Ministry of Health, are also participating.
During the event inauguration ceremony, Vu Tuan Cuong, head of the Drug Administration of Vietnam, expressed the expo’s significance in facilitating trade and promoting cooperation between domestic and foreign companies in the pharmaceutical industry.
Themed “International Integration for Community Health,” this year’s expo aims to attract foreign capital to Vietnam’s medical production sector and enhance the country’s manufacturing capabilities.
Throughout the expo, several conferences will be held to provide market insights and shed light on emerging trends in the industry. These conferences will feature the participation of renowned experts, officials, and professionals from Vietnam and other countries.
