HCMC – The National Assembly (NA) will not pass the draft of the amended Land Law at the next round of the sixth session from November 20 to 29 due to unresolved differences.
NA Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue said today, November 16, that the Government and the NA Standing Committee had agreed that the revised Land Law would be submitted to the NA for approval at its nearest sitting.
“There remain differences over the draft and some parts of the draft are designed with two options,” Hue said at the NA Standing Committee meeting in Hanoi. “The NA Economic Committee has yet to present their views on these issues and is consulting with the NA Standing Committee.”
