HCMC – A military pilot training aircraft crashed during a training session in central Vietnam this morning. The pilot ejected safely before the crash.
No casualties have been reported in the military training plane crash in Dien Nam Bac Ward, Dien Ban Town, Quang Nam Province, but the incident has caused damage to a residential property.
The Su-22 aircraft under the supervision of Division 372, Air Defense-Air Force Service, departed from Danang before encountering technical issues about 10 minutes into the training session.
Military officials are en route to the scene of the crash to determine the cause of the incident. The area where the aircraft crashed has been cordoned off for investigation.
