HCMC – Danang City authorities have completed land clearance for the Hoa Lien-Tuy Loan Expressway and handed it over to contractors, according to the Vietnam News Agency (VNA).

The 11.47-km main route of the expressway in Hoa Vang District has been transferred, with authorities pledging rental support and resettlement land for affected households.

The city plans to establish three resettlement areas for displaced residents, with the first in Hoa Nhon Commune set to begin construction in early 2025, while the other two are expected to follow in mid-2025.

The Ministry of Transport has allocated over VND479.8 trillion for land clearance this year, primarily for resettlement areas.

The Hoa Lien-Tuy Loan Expressway, with an investment of nearly VND2.11 trillion, is expected to be technically completed by August 2025, according to the project’s management board under the HCMC Road Project Management Unit.

To prevent material shortages, Danang officials have instructed Truong Ban Quarry to boost production by February 2025.

Once completed, the four-lane expressway will feature two interchanges, 11 bridges, eight underpasses, 62 drainage culverts, and parallel service roads spanning over 20 km. It will connect the La Son-Hoa Lien and Danang-Quang Ngai expressways, improving regional transport links.
