HCMC – The ministries of Industry-Trade and Finance have announced to lower gasoline retail prices, effective from 3 p.m. today, May 22.
RON95-III, Vietnam’s most popular gasoline, and E5 RON92 bio-gasoline dropped by around VND60, now priced at VND19,530 and VND19,220 per liter, respectively.
On the other hand, other oil products rose. Diesel oil edged up by VND180 to VND17,400 per liter, while kerosene is now VND17,310 per liter, increasing by VND90. Heavy fuel oil picked up by VND350 to VND16,510 per kilogram.
The two ministries still refrained from imposing a surcharge on any fuel type. Fuel traders are not allowed to tap into the price stabilization fund during this adjustment.
