TAL shares to move to HOSE

HCMC – Taseco Land Investment JSC will stop trading 311.85 million TAL shares on the Unlisted Public Company Market, or UPCoM, for listing on the Hochiminh Stock Exchange (HOSE).

Taseco Land, formerly An Binh Real Estate Investment JSC, was established in 2009. It made its UPCoM debut in January 2024 at a reference price of VND21,000. The HOSE approved its listing on June 27 this year.

The company held a land bank of around 648 hectares at the end of 2024 and plans to expand this to over 1,000 hectares in 2025 and 5,000 hectares by 2030.

Taseco Land plans to invest in property projects across several cities and provinces, including Hanoi, Haiphong, Quang Binh, Hue, Danang, and Dong Nai.

As of March 31, 2025, Taseco Group held a 72.49% stake in the company. The remaining shares were held by minority investors with holdings below 5%.

In the first quarter of 2025, Taseco Land posted revenue of VND375.86 billion, up 21.6% from a year earlier. Net profit rocketed 118.9% to VND22.31 billion.

The company targets full-year revenue of VND4.33 trillion and net profit of VND536 billion.

Closing the trading session today, June 30, TAL jumped 7.69% to VND28,000, with over 540,000 shares changing hands.

The VN-Index edged up 4.63 points, or 0.34%, to close at 1,376.07 points, with 216 winners and 92 losers.

Trading volume dropped 4.1% from the previous session to 692.6 million shares valued at VND18.85 trillion. Block deals accounted for 37.8 million shares worth VND1.33 trillion.

The VN30-Index, which tracks the 30 largest-cap stocks, rose nearly two points to 1,477.56 points, with 16 bluechips rising and 10 others dipping. VCB, TCB, and BID were the top contributors, collectively adding 1.5 points to the main index.

SHB took the lead by liquidity on the southern bourse, with 32.6 million shares changing hands.

On the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index rose edged up 1.41 points, or 0.62%, to 229.22 points, with 89 advancers and 72 decliners. Trading volume reached 67 million shares worth VND1.28 trillion on the northern market.
